We stand together, a unified voice of reason, in support of age appropriate reproductive health education and access to reproductive health counseling and services for all South Carolinians.

Friday Note

I’m sitting in Dulles airport on my way to New Hampshire for my brother’s high school graduation (which is freaking me out in many different ways), and keep having a thought.

I’m missing South Carolina. I keep getting emails about local news and the crazy politics of our state, and just find myself sitting here, missing home.

We had a big day yesterday, and with the passage of the budget can move on to other important issues facing South Carolina. Primaries are Tuesday, the Legislature is coming back on June 15th, and summer is arriving in rainy style. Tell Them is gearing up for summer, and getting ready to get back on the road and visit our friends across the state. This is a really exciting time for us, and having a few hours to sit and think have just made me ralize it even more.

My next flight isn’t until noon, by which time both of my sisters will have joined me (one’s flying in from Denver, the other lives in DC and is currently going through security). Then off to the north for a weekend without humidity (sad) and full of graduation joy (yay).

I just thought that I’d share: I’m missing our crazy state. Have a great weekend!

My brother and I at Stonehenge. Congratulations Ben!
